Sandee S. Nebel
Sandee Nebel, MS, LMHC,CEDS, is a licensed mental health counselor and certified eating disorder specialist in private practice in Winter Park. She is the founder and clinical director of the White Picket Fence Counseling Center where she and her staff specialize in treating binge and compulsive eating, food addiction, eating disorders and body image issues. She is a frequent guest lecturer in local schools and colleges as well as workshop and group facilitator in her community. She works individually and in therapy groups with her clients on recovery from disordered eating with a special focus on relapse prevention.
In August of 2012, Sandee launched the opening of the White Picket Fence Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit resource center, providing counseling services and support to the community and quality training to students and professionals. Our mission is to help people overcome binge and overeating, food addiction and other eating disorders in order to maintain a healthy mind, body and spirit.
Sandee is an adjunct psychology professor at Valencia College and a practicum instructor at Nova Southeastern University in the masters in mental health counseling program. She is designated by the state of Florida as a qualified supervisor of registered interns and facilitates supervision groups as well as trainings for those specializing in food addictions, eating and weight disorders.
